Nvidia tunes up the graphics for Windows 8 tablets

Nvidia is enhancing the design of its Tegra processors to emphasize the graphics capabilities and longer battery life in tablet computers based on the forthcoming Windows 8 operating system, according to Rene Haas, vice president and general manager at Nvidia. "We're working with virtually every OEM on the planet excited about Windows on ARM," the processor designs that make up Nvidia's chips, he said.
