The food tourism industry is growing by leaps and bounds, and agents need to get their industry knowledge and supplier connections up-to-date if they want to capture the demand, says Harold Partain, founder and executive director of Epicopia Culinary Journeys. A knowledgeable partner is vital to breaking into the food tourism market, Partain says. "If an agency belongs to a consortium, then find out the tour operators who understand food tourism," Partain said.
