Ala. students learn about math, filmmaking from local actor

Students at an Alabama middle school recently learned about the role math plays in filmmaking from actor Michael O'Neill. The event was part of math teacher Bryan Billy's efforts to engage students in math. "Anytime I can take it outside of the classroom where I can get them to see the big picture, they'll remember it till the end of the year and hopefully when they get in their careers," he said.
