AppNexus ad network put new emphasis on mobile marketing

The AppNexus ad network is going "all-in" on mobile, by dedicating as many as 40 staffers to mobile marketing. Although the company has done mobile work since 2010, CEO Brian O'Kelley now says AppNexus will become the first mobile-focused "full-on ad tech enterprise company." "We're actively taking our entire enterprise platform for display, which we've spent the last five years building, and made the whole thing work for mobile," O'Kelley explains.
