Almost half of all consumers feel overwhelmed and confused by the flood of environmental messages they receive from brands, according to a recent Cone Communications survey. That suggests something is wrong with the marketing process, writes Brady Hamed. "No one should feel overwhelmed by trying to maintain a sense of social responsibility -- it should be easy and effortless," Hamed writes.
