Bill would revive tax credit for advanced energy manufacturers

Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., offered a bill that would revive a program that offered a 30% tax incentive to advanced energy manufacturers. "We've utilized this program before, and it created 180 additional manufacturing sites in 43 states. So we know it works," Sinema said. When the program was active from 2009 to 2010, it disbursed about $3.2 billion.
