Chinese firm may invest $1.7B to build wind farms in Australia

China-based Shenhua Group is considering expanding its partnership with Hydro Tasmania to build $1.7 billion in wind energy projects with total capacity of 700 megawatts in Australia by the end of 2020. The firms have yet to identify the projects, according to the Australian energy firm.
