CSX partners with Fla. port on $11M project; wins recognition

A CSX partnership with the Port of Tampa, Fla., for the $11 million Tampa Gateway rail project helped the port attain the Charles McIntosh Jr. Award of Distinction. "The rail project is a boon to the efficiency of the ethanol fuel sector and also creates an important enhancement between general cargoes, container activity and the port's hinterland," Tampa Port Authority officials said.
