EFI debuts tech that makes signage smarter

EFI has unveiled a signage system that combines static signs with webcams and facial recognition software that recognizes when people are nearby, interprets their reaction to the messaging and measures ROI from advertisers' messages. The system, called SmartSign Analytics, is in beta testing and is set for commercial release next month.
