Electronic-toothbrush company looks to partner with insurers

The co-founder of BEAM Technologies wants to partner with dental insurance companies to offer favorable rates to customers who demonstrate good oral hygiene using BEAM's Bluetooth-enabled toothbrush. The toothbrush senses how often and for how long users brush their teeth, and the company has already struck a deal with a network that provides discount movie tickets and other incentives.
