EU parliament prepares for vote on carbon prices

The European Union parliament is preparing for a vote on whether to intervene on carbon prices to prop up the EU emissions-trading scheme. "The plenary vote on 16 April will be close, and therefore represents another do or die moment for the troubled European ETS," said Matthew Gray, carbon analyst at Jefferies Bache.
