FCC's Pai, Rosenworcel see need for FM chips in cellphones

Federal Communications Commission members Ajit Pai and Jessica Rosenworcel, during an appearance at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, gave their backing to the idea that cellphones should include FM radio chips. Rosenworcel said demand for FM inclusion would rise as more people use devices with the chips, while Pai touted FM's potential to help provide information during emergencies. The two FCC members also agreed that their agency needs to work faster to keep up with the pace of the digital world.
