FINRA wants to better safeguard seniors

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority is gathering information from firms about the products they sell to seniors, and how they are marketing themselves to older clients. FINRA hopes to use the data to better supervise sales to senior citizens, says Susan Axelrod of FINRA. "It's something that has all of our attention, and I think it's somewhere where you'll see regulators continue to focus," she said.
