MEC, a media agency, conducted a six-week happiness workshop for about two dozen workers, and at the end of the workshop each participant reported feeling less stressed and better prepared to handle their jobs, Christine Champagne writes. "One employee took it upon herself to launch a media tools training initiative aimed at junior-level staff; another was promoted to head up an entire department," CEO Marla Kaplowitz said.
