Hawking lends support to stem cell research

Physicist Stephen Hawking toured the stem cell labs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and asked clinicians to support stem cell research. Hawking, who has the degenerative disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and wrote the best-seller "A Brief History of Time," spoke to researchers in a speech he titled "A Brief History of Mine."
