A video that struck just the right balance of entertainment and information also struck gold for Dollar Shave Club when it broke on YouTube last year, spurring so much traffic that the company's server crashed. The company staffed up, figured out how to fill thousands of orders that the video sparked and attracted the investors it needed to expand, founder Michael Dubin says. "We are building the future of the Dollar Shave Club on the idea we want to be the easiest place for guys to get the things they need every day," he said.
