Lawmakers blame SEC for slow JOBS Act implementation

Several lawmakers are blaming the Securities and Exchange Commission for the lack of implementation of the JOBS Act. "A year ago, it was a landmark day. The biggest rewrite of securities laws in a generation. A year later, we have been frustrated by a Securities and Exchange Commission that needs to get to work," said Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-N.C. The SEC disagrees with that assessment, saying it is just trying to get the rules right.
