New app allows patients to track health conditions

A free mobile application that works on Android and Apple devices was recently released by Parrish Medical Center in Florida as part of its HealthBridge initiative. Patients with serious illnesses, including heart disease and diabetes, can tap into the app's health content from the Mayo Clinic that covers more than 2,000 diseases, as well as use the health tracking tools to monitor wellness metrics, such as blood pressure and medication adherence.
