Bobby Jindal is seen by some as the future of the Republican Party -- but back home, his approval rating has fallen to a dismal 38%, apparently dragged down by the stands he's taken on national issues. That's remarkably similar to the trajectory followed by Mitt Romney, who was unpopular in Massachusetts by the time he left office, but was nonetheless able to capture his party's presidential nomination, writes Nate Silver.
