New ad campaign pits concrete against asphalt in pothole war

A new ad campaign by the Portland Cement Association is pitting concrete against asphalt. The billboards in Minnesota blame asphalt for potholes. PCA says longer lasting concrete is the solution to the "annual pothole patching" of asphalt roads. "We want to position concrete as a product that can be used on those maintenance and preservation applications," said PCA's Douglas Burns.
