EAS suppliers call on FCC to reconsider text-to-speech

Suppliers of emergency alert system gear are calling on the Federal Communications Commission to reconsider its decision to delay action on text-to-speech software in CAP receivers. They warned of "significant" possible consequences, including losing backup capability if an originator's audio file is damaged or missing.
