A number of owners and operators of AmericInn-brand hotels said they support the new programs for property and operational improvement that have been introduced by the AmericInn executive team. The upgrades include an exterior refresh on each property, estimated to cost $25,000. "It's not cheap to do it, and we understand that. But the flipside to it is you have to be competitive," said Kalpesh Patel, a principal with hotel owner and operator VKB Management.
