Brazil's ethanol output to rise 9% in 2013-2014 season, agency says

Ethanol production in Brazil's center-south region will reach 6.3 billion gallons in the season that starts this month, up 9% from 5.8 billion gallons in the season before, according to initial estimates by grain-supply agency Conab. The country as a whole is expected to produce 6.8 billion gallons of the biofuel, up 9% from last year, Conab said.
