Catholic Health Initiatives and Accenture are planning a nine-month program that will use a data infrastructure currently in development to identify health risks in patient populations. CHI also aims to apply the system to future programs that will focus on managed care, value-based purchasing, care management and clinical integration. "We're starting to build out predictive models for patient[s] at high risk (of) readmission and pushing it back into the EHRs. That gets people focused on the benefit," said Evon Holladay, CHI's vice president of enterprise intelligence.
