Cox seeks 20% reduction in its carbon footprint

Cox Enterprises is looking to lower its carbon footprint by 20%, and Kevin Hart, chief technology officer at Cox Communications, explained how the company is trying to do it at a Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers conference in Atlanta. Cox estimates it has saved more than 1 million gallons of fuel through the use of a GPS system, and it has installed a solar array at its headquarters. Also, Cox's CTech office in Georgia uses reflective roofing and low-flow fixtures to save energy and water.
