Endometrial cancer linked to risk of colon cancer

The rate of colorectal cancer was slightly higher among women who were diagnosed with endometrial cancer compared with peers without a history of cancer, Canadian researchers found. However, they noted that endometrial cancer diagnosis before age 50 was linked to a fourfold increased risk of developing colon cancer. The findings appear in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
