Experts: OpenStack reaches maturity but still has growing up to do

With the recent release of the seventh version of OpenStack -- code-named Grizzly -- questions about the protocol's viability as a challenger to Amazon Web Services' dominance of the cloud have been largely put to rest, according to Marc Brien, an analyst at Domicity. Although experts now extol the virtues of the maturing open-source platform, most analysts agree that OpenStack is still in its infancy as an enterprise solution.
