How robots are changing education

A programmable robot called NAO is being used in classrooms to enhance science, technology, engineering and math lessons and to help students with autism learn social skills. For instance, students in an advanced programming class at a Kansas academy have been learning about computer programming by configuring the robot to make specific comments to questions. Tennessee's Vanderbilt University, on the other hand, is using the robot to help children with autism develop joint attention skills.
