LinkedIn makes mobile content move, buys Pulse news reader

LinkedIn will pay $90 million to buy mobile application startup Pulse, the professional social network firm announced on Thursday in a deal that signals LinkedIn's intent to put a greater focus on mobile content. "Grabbing an early position in the mobile market would be very valuable, long term, as new devices become the mainstream way to access digital content," Avondale Partners analyst Randle Reece said.
