McDonald's ad in Boston offends advocates for the mentally ill

McDonald's has pulled ads displayed on Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority trains that mimic depression help-line services. The ads show a woman with her head in hand and the copy "You're not alone. Millions of people love the Big Mac." It also offers an 800 number that connects callers to a McDonald's customer satisfaction department. The company said the ad was not approved, adding "[a]s soon as we learned about it, we asked that it be taken down immediately."
