Medtronic releases device used in cardiac lead implantation

Medtronic has announced the launch of the CardioGuide Implant System, which is used to allow real-time tracking of cardiac defibrillator and pacemaker leads during implantation. The device, which produces 3D images of the patient's cardiac veins, could help surgeons position the leads more quickly and accurately.
