More than $13M worth of school roof projects planned for N.J. town

More than $3 million worth of roofing projects will take place at three public schools in Westfield, N.J., over the summer. The work will be the "first step" after voters approved a $13.6 million bond to repair and replace roofs at 12 school buildings in the district, according to Richard Mattessich, president of the local board of education. "The following summer, we'll do the rest of the roofs," Mattessich added.
