NRCA exec: Residential roofing revenues up from last year

The slight uptick in the housing market and repairs for storm damage have brought business to some roofing companies, according to industry executives. Roofing contractors could also see a lift from underwater homeowners who plan to remodel or repair their houses to boost the value. Nationally, firms have seen revenues from residential roofing increase about 10% this year, compared with the same period last year, said Bill Good, executive vice president of the National Roofing Contractors Association. "We are optimistic about the outlook for the next two or three years," Good said.
