Recruiting by algorithm: LinkedIn points the way

LinkedIn has created algorithms that select prospective candidates for recruiters. The company plans to offer the tool to the 16,400 enterprises that buy premium services. This could be the start of a larger trend, George Anders writes. "[I]n the years to come, LinkedIn's algorithms could play an increasingly important role in shaping companies' overall prospect lists," he writes.
