Report sheds light on progress made toward cancer prevention

The American Cancer Society yesterday released a report highlighting significant progress made by the U.S. in its fight against cancer, including continued declines in smoking rates, particularly among high-school students. The report also showed that more young women have received the human papillomavirus vaccine, while mammogram rates remained relatively stable.
