Rooftop farm to sprout atop NYC grocery store

A 20,000-square-foot rooftop farm will become part of a new Whole Foods Market in Brooklyn, N.Y. The farm will provide fresh produce for that and other Whole Foods stores. "Citywide [the roof] is probably the most underutilized part of the building," said Michael Sinatra, a spokesman for Whole Foods.
