From live-fish pedicures to paraffin manicures, spas and salons in cities throughout India are putting greater focus on the health and beauty of hands and feet. "Aroma-based therapy services are good for tan removal and correction of skin dryness that is caused by using detergents," says Karthika Ajith, owner of Strands Aaroos Day Spa and Salon. It offers treatments such as a "Cleopatra milk pedicure" and "chocolate manicure."
