Study rejects link between fertility drugs, ovarian cancer risk

Taking fertility drugs does not increase a woman's risk of developing ovarian cancer, according to a study published online in the journal Fertility and Sterility. Researchers looked at data from 1,028 ovarian cancer patients and compared them to 872 women who didn't have the condition. They found that roughly 17% of ovarian cancer patients had used fertility drugs compared with around 24% of women who didn't have ovarian cancer.
