Study touts advantages of D-SPECT over conventional SPECT

A clinical study showed that with its increased count sensitivity and spatial resolution, the D-SPECT camera requires a shorter imaging time to detect known coronary artery disease compared with conventional SPECT. The findings suggest D-SPECT has great potential for dynamic SPECT applications, particularly in cardiology and molecular imaging, the researchers said.
