North American Development makes first Calif. retail purchase

North American Development Group has made inroads into the California market with its first retail center acquisition: Rock Creek Plaza, a 205,100-square-foot complex near Sacramento. It acquired the center for $23.5 million in cash. The firm says that is actively seeking other deals in the state. Tenants at Rock Creek include Kmart, Petco, Rite Aid, Best Buy and BevMo.
