North Carolina and Washington state improve safety at crossings

Safety improvements are being made at crossings in North Carolina and Washington state. Six grade crossings, including five Norfolk Southern crossings, and one Southbound Railway Co. crossing, were improved for $1.5 million. In Washington state, funds were approved to upgrade crossings along the Washington and Idaho Railway and the Eastern Washington Gateway Railroad.
