TV station exec says spectrum plan puts broadcast "at risk"

The uncertainty surrounding the FCC's spectrum plans are like NBC's ill-fated idea to shift Jay Leno from late-night to prime time, Post-Newsweek President Alan Frank said during a panel discussion Monday at the NAB Show. What's more, the proposal to shift spectrum away from broadcasters puts "at risk" the broadcast system as the "repacking" will reduce protections from signal interference, Frank said.
