Wind power developers are putting their plans for 2013 on hold because of the uncertainty over the Production Tax Credit, according to Elizabeth Salerno, chief economist of the American Wind Energy Association. "That one factor has stifled the future growth and the forward movement of the industry into 2013," Salerno said. "We know that as an industry there are not projects currently scheduled for the year. Turbine manufacturers have not received orders for 2013."
