A slew of apparel brands from Gucci and YSL to Levi's and Timberland have invested significantly to create more sustainable production systems, but the jury's still out on whether brands can convince fashion-conscious consumers to pay more to shop green. A new initiative from the Danish Fashion Institute and BSR aims to change minds.
