Coalition advances solutions to the challenges of health care

A coalition of health care organizations including AHIP has issued recommendations for a better U.S. health care system. The list includes shifting away from fee-for-service payment models and encouraging use of high-value health care providers. "High-value, affordable health care for individuals and families requires a sustained commitment by all stakeholders to actively engage and address the drivers of health costs throughout the system. Today's report presents an actionable roadmap for reform," said AHIP President and CEO Karen Ignagni.
