Developers kill "blink," and users won't miss it

The "blink" tag is on the way out, with only Mozilla's rendering engine currently retaining the ability to parse and display blinking text. Still, developers will be able to create 1990s-style blinking sites if they really want to. "[T]here are still plenty ways to get text to blink -- CSS and JavaScript are both, regrettably, up to the task," writes Scott Gilbertson.
