Procrastination isn't always bad -- it can help you process decisions and can spur action by generating light stress, Anna Codrea-Rado writes. One trick that productive people use is to procrastinate by completing an item on their to-do list. "So don’t feel too guilty the next time you pause from that spreadsheet to pay your gas bill online," Codrea-Rado writes.
