Kroger plans record-breaking effort to fight hunger

A record-breaking anti-hunger effort is set for Tuesday, when more than 4,800 Kroger associates will gather at the Kentucky Exposition Center to create an estimated 17,000 boxes of food and personal-care items. The boxes will go to the Dare to Care Food Bank for distribution throughout the Louisville region.
