McDonald's, Sina Weibo use QR tech for macho Big Mac campaign

Users can honor their fathers and show their manly side by building a personalized Big Mac using quick response code technology in a mobile campaign developed by McDonald's and Sina Weibo. Banner ads on Sina China’s Web portal drive readers to the campaign site, where they can create an image with their custom sandwich and a phrase describing their father -- tapping into the manly market the campaign is meant to target.
