Report: Profitability of European banks is under pressure

Oliver Wyman and Morgan Stanley have released a report raising concerns about the profitability of European corporate and investment banks. The report says compensation limits, financial-transaction taxes and regulatory changes are pressuring profitability. "The squeeze is beginning to hurt in Europe," Morgan Stanley analyst Huw Van Steenis says in the report.
